Furniture made with quality and care, just for you.
All orders are custom, so please provide us with your preferred style, dimensions, type of lumber, and - if desired - an inspirational photo of your desired furniture. We will then provide you with a custom quote and arrange a free consultation to begin planning your project. Your project will be completed in the order it was received, which may result in a wait time. Generally, this is only a few weeks. However, rest assured that it will be worth the wait!
We will keep you updated throughout the creative process of building your custom piece, including when to choose your stain color. Once your project is complete, we offer free local delivery up to twenty miles away - any destination beyond that will be charged a modest delivery fee. Should you need your table for a special occasion, we can accommodate you for an expedited fee.
On the day of delivery, we may need a hand bringing your furniture inside your home. If applicable, we will do any necessary installation on the same day at no additional cost to you. Don't worry... we will be out of your way soon after so you can enjoy your new furniture - furniture we are proud of and the furniture you will love for years to come!
Expectations
Design your home with custom, locally made furniture.
At Outlander Woodworking we can find any lumber of your choice, which we source from high-quality lumber merchants and local suppliers. While the most affordable lumber options are Knotty Alder and budget-friendly Pine, these are also known as softwoods. Softwoods are more prone to scratches and dents, unlike hardwoods, which we recommend for a longer-lasting and perfect product.
Additionally, softwoods are more likely to shift over time due to temperature changes and exposure to water. As a business based in Minnesota and Wisconsin with high humidity, we recommend using a dehumidifier to prevent humidity in your home that could cause the wood to warp.
Unfortunately, these conditions are beyond our control, so it is up to you to care for your beautiful table after the project is complete. We will do our best to make sure you love your table, but we cannot guarantee it against possible dents, scratches, or shifting due to temperature changes. We hope you can enjoy your products for many years!

A: Our tables are extremely durable and built to last, crafted with the highest quality materials, and constructed with expert craftsmanship. The tables are built to withstand everyday wear and tear and are designed to last for years to come. (Please note, softwoods are more prone to shifting and denting and we will not take responsibility for the natural wear and tear of wood or shifting due to temperature changes. It is up to our clients to look after their tables.
Q: How long will it take to build my order?
A: Our standard lead time is 2-3 weeks, but depending on the complexity and size of the order, this can vary. We can provide you with an accurate timeline estimate once we have the details of the order.

A: We offer custom-made furniture for residential and commercial applications. Our products are meant to be built to suit your style and complement your home. Our selection includes dining tables, benches, patio furniture, cabinets, shelving units, beds, and other pieces designed and crafted to meet your style and needs.
Q: Is your furniture weatherproof?
A: Yes, our furniture is weatherproof. We use a process of multiple coats of stain and spar urethane for protection against the elements. This coating helps to protect the wood from moisture, UV rays, and other harsh weather conditions.
Q: How much do your custom furniture pieces cost?
A: Prices vary depending on the size, materials, and other customization options you choose. We offer a free consultation to discuss your needs and provide you with an accurate quote.
Q: Do you offer any warranties on your furniture?
A: Yes, all of our custom-made furniture comes with a 1-year warranty. This covers any defects from workmanship but does not cover natural shifting, scratches or denting, or normal wear and tear of a table. Any defect caused by the client will need to pay hourly for the repair process.
Q: Can I get a custom piece made to fit my exact space?
A: Absolutely! We will work with you to design and build a piece of furniture that fits your exact space and meets your exact specifications.
Q: What materials do you use?
A: We use high-quality materials, including wood, metal, steel, and other materials, depending on the design of the piece. We also provide a variety of finishes, such as stain and lacquer, to give your piece the perfect look.
Q. What is your return and refund policy?
A. Unfortunately, due to the unique nature of each piece, we are unable to offer returns or refunds. All of our furniture is custom-made to order, and as such, we cannot resell any item that has been returned. We understand that this may be inconvenient, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about your purchase before you make it.
